3. Nature of the service
WeGoat is a free prediction game among friends. It is not a gambling game (jeu d’argent et de hasard): no wager, no payment, no material or financial winnings. Points, WeGoat XP and leaderboards have no monetary value. The dare that an organizer can display in their private group is a forfeit or a reward with no money involved, in which WeGoat plays no part. The details are set out in the terms of use.
4. Intellectual property
The WeGoat name, the logo, the visual identity, and the texts, illustrations and code of the service belong to the publisher or are used with the permission of their authors. Any reproduction or reuse without written consent is prohibited.
The names of competitions, shows, teams or public figures mentioned in the picks are used only to identify them. WeGoat is not affiliated with any channel, federation, league (including the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB), organizer or artist. The DM Sans and Space Grotesk fonts are distributed under the SIL Open Font License, and the Lucide icons under the ISC license. The avatar characters follow the Open Peeps style by Pablo Stanley (public domain, CC0), assembled with DiceBear (MIT license).
Club and team logos are the property of their respective owners and are displayed for information purposes only. They accompany the soccer and American sports (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) games imported automatically (API-Sports data, including API-Football) and do not imply any partnership with the clubs, teams or leagues.
The printable posters and shareable images generated by WeGoat (podiums, invitations) reproduce these visuals and logos for personal use among friends: they may not be used for commercial purposes.
5. Content published by players
Players can create groups and competitions, and write their group’s dare and messages. Clearly unlawful content can be reported from the app (“Report” button) or to contact@wegoat.fr, stating the address of the page and the reason. The publisher removes it promptly if the report is well-founded.
