One group, as many leagues as you like
A single group can follow several competitions: the NFL and the NBA, the Premier League, the Champions League and more. Everyone plays on the same leaderboard, whatever they follow.
For NFL, NBA and NHL games, you pick the winner. For soccer, you predict the score.
How points work
NFL, NBA and NHL: 3 points for the right winner. Soccer: 5 points for the exact score, 3 for the right goal difference, 2 for the right winner or draw. The group’s creator can adjust the scoring until the first points are won.
Your picks stay private until each question locks. After that, everyone sees everyone’s choices, and that’s when the trash talk starts.
No money, just bragging rights
WeGoat is a game: no buy-in, no bets, no money to win or lose. The best picker wins bragging rights.
To raise the stakes, the creator of a private group can set a dare with no money involved, like “Last place brings the donuts.” It shows on the group’s page and on the final leaderboard.
On your phone or your computer
WeGoat works in your browser or with the app for iPhone and Android. A reminder lets you know when picks are waiting, so you don’t miss a game.
Questions about pick’em with friends
How do you run a pick’em with friends?

Yes. Starting a group, inviting friends and playing are free, and no money is involved.
How many friends can join?
As many as you want: a group has no limit on players.
Can my friends see my picks?
